Job summary

A global micro connectors manufacturer is seeking a Project Equipment Engineer in Singapore. You will be managing CAPEX projects involving the manufacturing and installation of new machines. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in equipment design and project management in the electronics or semiconductor industry. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Equipment Design & Project Management in Electronics/Semiconductor.
• Experience with CAPEX budget proposals and conceptualization.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving CAPEX budget proposals/justification, conceptualization, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and industrialisation of new machines.
• Develop and review equipment specifications, identify and select suitable suppliers, conduct tender evaluations, and award purchase orders to suppliers who meet the selection criteria.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.

Talent

• Degree inMechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or relevant discipline
• 2 - 5 years working experience in Equipment Design & Project Management in Electronics / Semiconductor Back End Industry
