Division Summary

Working as part of the Global flow sales team reporting to Head of FIC Flow Sales and locally reporting to Deputy Chief Executive, Singapore.

Job Purpose

This role provides daily support to FIC Asia sales team, assisting with client engagement, trade support, internal coordination and data management.

Conduct role within remit of MAS Representative Licensing Framework.

Key Responsibilities

Assistance to the team

  • Client engagement: Prepare and distribute sales materials, including presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Trade Support: Assist the sales team with responding to client inquiries, providing market information, executing client’s flow trades, preparing termsheets.
  • Internal coordination: Coordinate with internal departments for new client onboarding, master agreement negotiation and credit application.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update client databases, sales records, and other relevant documentation. Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing events, and managing correspondence. Support the sales team with travel arrangements and expense reports.

Risk Management

  • Ensure operation within relevant Credit limits
  • Ensure understanding of relevant Regulatory, Legal and Compliance risks and rules that pertain to business activities and that they are fully adhered to
  • Ensure Operational risk is minimized and any incidents escalated if they arise

Conduct

  • Maintain an awareness of and comply with all Anti Bribery and Corruption laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to ICBC Standard Bank and be cognisant of the key ABC risks including 3rd parties and inducements.
  • Maintain an awareness of and comply with all Anti Money Laundering laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to ICBC Standard Bank
  • Uphold the Values of the firm
  • Escalate all significant Regulatory / Compliance issues immediately through appropriate channels
  • Develop and maintain a Senior Managers Regime plan and working document to evidence compliance with the regime
  • Responsible for ensuring all mandatory training is completed by the team
  • Operate within the terms of the SLAs with Standard Bank Group

New Business Risk

  • Ensure awareness of approved products
  • Ensure any proposed New Business has a robust revenue story
  • Ensure that any new business initiatives are appropriately sponsored in the NPC, NPP and TAC forums
