Job summary

A community service organization in Singapore is looking for a Counsellor to provide casework and counselling services for families. The role involves conducting intake assessments, facilitating parenting workshops, and providing supervision to junior staff. A Master's degree in Counselling or a Bachelor's in Social Work with counselling certification is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in family counselling. The ideal candidate will also have strong conflict management skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of couple/family counselling experience.
  • Preferably accredited member of SASW or clinical member of SAC.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments for new clients to identify needs and risks.
  • Plan and facilitate groupwork intervention for parents and children.
  • Provide supervision to junior staff or interns.
