Job summary

A leading property management firm in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the management and operations of contracts. Key responsibilities include leading the service team, ensuring effective maintenance, managing preventative works, and implementing quality programs. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Overall in-charge of the management and operation of the contract;
  • Lead the Service Team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance;
  • Responsible for the management, planning of preventative maintenance works and services (including contractors engaged by the Authority);
  • Implement the quality maintenance program and comply with government/ statutory regulations; conduct regular audits of building and M&E facilities and works;
  • Manage projects programmes and supervise as and when required;
  • Prepare and put-up justifications for variation works;
  • Ensuring works are completed on time and as per contract requirements;
  • Ensure that all faults and service requests are followed up timely;
  • Assist the Authority to compile and submit data/reports to other Authorities where required (e.g. MSE, BCA, etc);
  • Assist the Authority to achieve target goals and certifications/accreditations (e.g. GreenGov, ISO 41001:2018, etc);
  • Ensure servicing works are completed as per contractual requirements;
  • To involve in upgrading or office related project works and coordinate with relevant stakeholders;
  • Source, evaluate and recommend contractor(s) and quotations to perform works/services for the Authority;
  • Monitor and report progress of works and services; and
  • Verify and submit reports to the Authority.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma from a recognised tertiary establishment
  • At least five (5) years relevant working experience in facilities management
  • Have obtained SIFMA Certified Facilities Management Expert (CFME) accreditation in relevant tier or must obtain within Year 1 of Contract, unless otherwise agreed by the Authority.
