🏗️ The Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Development Director to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of development and upgrade initiatives for a major venue. This role oversees the facilities team and external service providers to ensure operational readiness, preventive maintenance, and the long‑term sustainability of the property.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of development, renovation, and expansion projects

• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept and approvals to procurement, scheduling, and quality control

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure facilities remain fully operational

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

• Champion sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, smart building technologies, and asset management best practices

• Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to support business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facilities development and management

• Experience within hospitality, events, commercial, or large‑scale property environments preferred

• Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

• Certifications in Green Mark, Fire Safety, or Sustainability are strong advantages

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and external service providers

• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills

• Solid understanding of building systems, sustainability frameworks, and lifecycle asset management
