Job summary

A food services company in Singapore is looking for a team member to assist the Chef and handle customer interactions. Responsibilities include preparing muffins, fulfilling customer orders, and managing transactions at the cash register. Candidates should possess customer service experience and a Food & Hygiene Certificate. Good communication skills and basic English proficiency are essential. The role requires working 4 to 5 days a week, primarily at One North MRT, with potential travel to other outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashiering or retail sales is advantageous.

• Ability to speak, read, and write simple English is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in preparing muffins and other items.
• Display muffins and attend to customer orders.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain cleanliness.
• Operate the cash register accurately.
• Assist in making fruit juices.
• Help at pop-up stalls as needed.

Job description

Working Hours : 12pm to 8pm (30 mins break)

4 days a week or 5 days a week

Location: mainly One North MRT, sometimes to help out at Alexandra Food Market and Pop Up stalls

• Assisting the Chef in preparing the muffins (as and when required)
• Help to display the muffins in the shelves and attend to customers orders
• Inventory checking and housekeeping
• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist in making fruit juice
• Able to assist pop up stall if required
• Willing to travel to other outlets for coverage of duties in the event of shortage of manpower (as and when required)
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

• Possess Cashiering / Customer Service / Retail Sales / F&B / Ticketing experience would be advantageous
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Able to Speak/Read/Write simple English
• Require a Food & Hygiene Certificate
