Role: Service Support - After Sales (Engineering)

Duration: Permanent

Location: Central, Singapore

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sales activities related to compressors and turbines installed in chemical plants.
  • Take up enquiries from clients, process enquiries and purchase orders, and follow up on payments.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, procurement team and other engineering function groups to ensure provision of seamless after‑sales services while meeting quality standards and clients’ requirements.
  • Prepare quotes, process purchase orders, and coordinate delivery.
  • Maintain accurate data records on the internal server.
  • Take prompt and satisfactory action for cost summary, proposal creation, and data input using internal system.
After‑Sales Services
  • Daily communication with clients by phone, e‑mail or web‑meeting for projects or ongoing work.
  • Handle technical‑commercial discussions with clients required for the supply of spares, upgrades, or modifications.
  • Engage in technical‑commercial discussions with vendors and engineering team.
  • Work with procurement team to arrange purchase orders and logistics for shipment.
  • Arrange logistics and accompany supervisors to site during site activities.
  • Create commercial proposals for after‑sales services, coordinating with vendors and departments such as Procurement and Engineering.
  • Understand internal procedures, calculate adequate cost and profit, and obtain approvals on internal compliance program.
  • Negotiate offer price, delivery time of items/services, and finalize the commercial offer.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients.
  • Follow up with clients on submitted proposals, ongoing order delivery, and invoice payment.
  • Arrange web‑meetings with clients or internal members and other sales persons.
Data Management
  • Record keeping of all technical communication, equipment history, changes, and upgrades.
  • Enter data and maintain project records and files (mainly electronic copy, including hard copy).
  • Communicate with internal members and/or other group company members and vendors to arrange administrative matters such as ticket‑booking and accommodation.
Requirements
  • Minimum technical diploma or degree.
  • 2‑year experience in sales activities (preparing proposals, profit calculation, etc.) is a plus.
