The Executive/Senior Engineers in the Component Servicing Centre (CSC) shall be responsible to ensure safe, quality and optimized operations of the workshops to support the MKBF reliability target of the SMRT Trains. The CSC is responsible for the diagnostics and testing as well as repair and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the trains and other related systems. The engineer shall be required to independently plan, schedule, coordinate and optimize workshop activities and manage safety, supervision and welfare of the work teams.
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
Experience in railway or component servicing works would be advantageous.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Comfortable to work hands‑on in a maintenance workshops environment alongside other Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers.
Able to work independently and as a team effectively adjusting oneself flexibly to different work situations.
Strong technical skills and decision‑making abilities.
Effective organisational and planning skills.
Fluent in written and oral communication skills in English.
