Job summary

A leading HR firm in Singapore is seeking an HR professional to assist with recruitment, manage onboarding processes, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Business or HR Management with at least 2 years of experience, effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin, and the ability to work under pressure. Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • IR8 / IR21
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices
  • Good knowledge of Government legislations (MOM, CPF and IRAS)
  • Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and manage the onboarding process.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Coordinate and assist for project deployment.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
  • Organize and maintain personnel files and ensure confidentiality.
  • Timely renewal and cancellation of work permits for foreign workers.
  • Carries out work permit applications, renewals and cancellations of foreign workers in a timely manner.
  • Follows up with purchase or cancellation of workers’ bond guarantees.
  • Any other HR & Account functions as assigned
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business or HR Management or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR practices.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act and various sourcing techniques.
  • Good command of written and spoken in English and Mandarin to interact with Chinese speaking employees. Can use translation app but in a proper documents.
  • Possess integrity, “Can Do” attitude with passion and a global mindset.
  • Effective at prioritizing, organizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Meticulous, accurate, detailed, time sensitive and have an inquisitive/curious mind.
  • Possess initiative, drive, a good eye for details and is result-oriented.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
