A non-profit organization in Singapore is seeking candidates for an accounting role. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and verifying compliance of accounting documents. The Strategic Operations Division is responsible for corporate planning, communications and engagement, financial governance, human resources and office management, as well as IT support. The Finance, Governance and Planning Department of the Strategic Operations Division of SIF is responsible for strategic planning, budget management and corporate governance. Finance fosters good corporate governance and stewardship through adherence to industry’s best practices and statutory requirements and works with Divisions to deliver optimal budget planning and utilisation.

Handle accounts payable.
Verify accounting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
Maintain and update accounting system and records.
Assist in performing the annual housekeeping in Dynamics 365 Business Central (“BC”).
Support other ad-hoc Finance department matters as required.
Diploma holder or above in accounting with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experiences.
Pro-active team player.
High sense of integrity with good interpersonal skills.
Effective time management skills, independent and meticulous.
Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (“BC”) accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of public sector financial policies and procedures would be an advantage.
Singaporean.
