A national aviation authority in Singapore seeks a Project Manager for Communications, Navigation Aid and Surveillance (CNS) Systems. The candidate will manage resources, oversee maintenance contractors, and ensure project quality. Candidates must have a background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, good communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach. Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
You will be responsible for the project management and supervision of maintenance of our state‑of‑the‑art mission‑critical Communications, Navigation Aid and Surveillance (CNS) Systems. You will ensure the overall quality & integrity of the projects, maintain the CNS Systems in accordance to international standards and best practices, and enhance both the software and hardware of the existing CNS Systems.
You will manage the project resources and schedules by working with both internal and external parties to deliver facilities and systems that meet the specified standards. You will also manage our maintenance contractors to ensure that all maintenance services are performed and the CNS Systems are maintained to the highest performance standards.
You will be responsible for the project management of any system replacement, including the whole procurement and implementation process as well as support the implementation of new systems. You will conduct market research, evaluate emerging technologies and participate in their demonstrations to assess suitability for use in CAAS' environment. The results of these evaluations and studies would determine the concept and technical approach for future projects.
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3‑year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
