Job summary

Core Responsibilities
  • Event planning and coordination: Assist in developing event plans, managing timelines, and overseeing logistics like venue setup, catering, and equipment.
  • Staff and vendor management: Coordinate and manage event staff, volunteers, and external vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards.
  • On‑site management: Supervise the execution of events, manage on‑ground operations, and troubleshoot issues as they arise in real‑time.
  • Budget and administration: Support budget tracking, manage expenses, and handle administrative tasks like maintaining inventory and processing invoices.
  • Health and safety: Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Post‑event evaluation: Conduct post‑event analysis, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in event management or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; leadership and team management skills.
