Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Environmental Compliance Officer (ECO) to ensure adherence to environmental regulations on site. The role involves conducting inspections, managing noise monitoring plans, and liaising with government authorities. The ideal candidate has a recognized diploma and at least 3 years of experience in the construction sector, along with ECO registration with NEA. This position requires strong safety management skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a recognized Diploma in relevant trade.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as ECO in the construction sector.
  • Must be registered ECO with NEA.
  • ECMO certified.
  • Preferably experienced with LTA project.
  • Familiar with Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with latest environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure ECM and environmental plan are in place.
  • Manage noise monitoring plan and report/manage vector and air pollution control plan.
  • Address safety matters on site.
  • Actively involve in site works and inspections and ECO programs.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports.
  • Liaise with government authorities.
