Job summary

Assist the Senior Manager (FM) in managing facilities services, including scheduling preventive maintenance and overseeing security management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Manager (FM) in managing facilities services, including scheduling preventive maintenance and overseeing security management.
  • Investigate, inspect, and analyze reported breakdowns and faults to identify causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinate all engineering activities.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure maintenance work meets the required service standards.
  • Conduct, execute and write specifications for tender and quotation.
  • Support and collaborate with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Carry out engineering analysis on poorly performing equipment.
  • Manage inventory levels of engineering supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Supervise the technical team who support the sites.
  • Conduct and supervise project works.
  • Prepare presentations and reports.
  • Prepare workplans and budgeting.
  • Review contractor and suppliers’ performance.
  • Any other tasks as instructed by senior manager or director.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Building Management, with preferably a few years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in facilities management or contract management is advantageous.
  • Effective communicator with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Team player with leadership qualities.
  • FSM certification is an added advantage.
