A precision engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an individual to set up machines, interpret technical documents, and oversee production processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in resolving issues with machinery and enhancing production efficiency, ensuring all operations meet engineering specifications. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Confer with engineers to implement procedures and resolve malfunctions.
• Set the machine to meet customer print specifications.
• Assist the machine operator to meet production goals.
• Edit programs to suit different machines as needed.
• Specify system components to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Research, design, and maintain mechanical products and systems.
• Oversee installation and operation of machines and equipment.
• Conduct research to analyze feasibility and performance of systems.
• Develop and monitor all aspects of production processes.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
2. Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
3. Responsible for setting the machine to meet the First Article base on the customer print, tolerance, and dimensions.
4. Responsible for assisting the Machine operator to meet their goals.
5. Responsible to edit program to suit different machines will be preferred
6. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
7. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
8. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
9. Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.
10. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of products.
