Roles & Responsibilities

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and requirements with engineers and clients.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
• Monitor expenses and ensure profitability.
• Approve material purchases and manage procurement schedules.

3. Technical & Quality Oversight

• Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, safety standards, and design intent.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on‑site.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety standards (WSH, risk assessments, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., EMA, BCA, SCDF in Singapore).

5. Team Management

• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, and electricians.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support.

6. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Prepare progress reports and attend coordination meetings.
• Handle variations, change orders, and project claims.
