Our M&E engineering client, known for delivering projects across commercial and industrial sectors, is seeking an Electrical Manager / Assistant Manager to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, plan, and manage electrical works for commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and safety standards.
  • Develop and execute project plans covering schedule management, quality assurance, safety controls, budget tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Review and interpret contract requirements, technical specifications, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure accurate implementation on site.
  • Monitor site activities, resolve technical or coordination issues proactively, and ensure works are carried out according to approved methods.
  • Manage variation orders and conduct negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor site supervisors and junior engineers, ensuring strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to project expectations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant managerial experience in construction projects
  • Solid understanding of Codes of Practice, ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18000 standards
  • BCSS certification is required
  • Meticulous, responsible and proactive, with strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful project delivery
