Position Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Working Location: Tuas (Company transportation provided)
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 8AM – 5PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance for electrical and instrumentation tasks, with a strong focus on safety.
- Perform electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Work on and troubleshoot AC low-voltage single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Maintain an appropriate level of electrical spare parts and drives to reduce downtime, including backing up and maintaining drive parameters.
- Keep clear and complete documentation, including maintenance procedures, risk assessments, single-line diagrams (SLD), and E&I maintenance records to support troubleshooting.
- Support three-phase generator control systems interfacing with grid power.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and organize preventive maintenance for MV and high-voltage systems (up to 22 kV).
- Understand and develop electrical panel schematics when required.
- Guide technicians on troubleshooting, when needed, for ACMV, CCTV, access control, PA systems, power, and lighting.
- Update and control electrical specifications, procedures, and drawings.
- Manage materials, including consumables, parts, and spare units.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete required records and reports.
- Review and approve service, repair, and equipment overhaul work, and ensure proper records and reports are completed.
- Maintain good housekeeping (5S) at the maintenance workshop, store, and site work areas.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, project team members, and relevant authorities.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in electrical work, preferably within large-scale industrial/engineering company.
- Proficient in CAD software, CMMS software and other engineering design tools.
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting sensors, actuator valve and transmitters.
- Strong knowledge of preparing detailed E&I design (e.g., circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, cable routes etc.).
- Strong knowledge of providing PLC Ladder Diagram and troubleshooting.
- Have basic knowledge in pumps alignment and health monitoring inspection.
- Strong knowledge in Preventive Maintenance inspection and planning.
- Independent and have leadership skill managing contractor and technician.
