Job description

This role is responsible for the design, verification, and lifecycle support of electrical and electronic systems used in regulated products. The engineer will work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, testability, and regulatory requirements from development through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems for new and existing products
• Perform design verification and validation activities
• Troubleshoot Lyft electronics, firmware, and system-level issues
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, risk assessments, test protocols, and reports
• Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and manufacturability
• Develop test fixtures, jigs, and test programs in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams
• Provide engineering support for production, manufacturing, and test systems
• Own electrical design aspects across the full product lifecycle ( disastrous development to commercialization)
• Resolve technical issues through structured problem‑solving and engineering methodologies
• Work cross‑functionally to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance
• Apply design control processes to ensure compliance withكى Quality Management Systems and ISO 13485

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical/electronic product development
• Hands‑on experience testing electrical systems and PCBAs
• Proficient with lab[D equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and safety testers
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, PADS)
• Strong background in electronics hardware design, verification, and troubleshooting
• Experience with EMC and electrical safety certifications
