OVERVIEW
Our client, a Japanese news agency, is looking foraReporter and Editor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building rapport and effectively communicate with interviewees.

• Asking insightful questions and follow up on responses to obtain comprehensive information.

• Editing to refine content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to editorial standards.

• Writing in a style that is accessible to a broad audience while maintaining accuracy and depth.

• Locating, analyzing, and summarizing official documents and reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Business-level English language skills: Proficiency in English for both internal and external communication.

• Native-level Japanese language skills: Fluency in Japanese for reporting and writing.

• Ability to create charts and diagrams using Excel: Skilled in using Excel to create visual data representations.

• Highly mobile and proactive: Willingness and ability to travel for on-site interviews and other fieldwork.

• Persistent in information gathering and writing: Strong research skills and dedication to producing high-quality written content.

• Experience as a journalist or editor is preferred: Previous experience in journalism or editing is advantageous, but not mandatory.

BENEFITS

• Salary: SGD 4,000 to 4,500
