Job description

[WEEKDAYS] We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Intervention Service Practitioner to join our team. The Early Intervention Service Practitioner will work with children and families to provide support and intervention services aimed at addressing developmental delays or disabilities in infants and young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, experience working with diverse populations, and a commitment to providing high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct developmental screenings and assessments to identify children at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Provide direct intervention services to children, including therapy, family training and educational activities.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment for children.
  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes for children and families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interventions, assessments, and progress reports.
  • Stay informed about best practices in early intervention and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet the changing needs of children and families.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards in early intervention practice.
