A leading e-commerce company in Singapore is seeking an experienced e-Commerce Manager to spearhead strategy and revenue growth for its digital platforms. The successful candidate will oversee e-commerce activities, manage key partnerships, and develop marketing strategies to achieve business targets. Applicants should have a diploma in Retail Sale or E-Commerce, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and expertise in platforms like Lazada and Shopee. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication for driving online growth.
General Summary: Formulate and spearhead strategy and revenue growth for all
Metro digital (e-commerce) business.This applies for all e-commerce platforms that may be assigned from time to time with the changing market conditions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILIES/FUNCTIONS:
Observe trends & latest development to formulate sales and marketing strategy for Metro digital (e-commerce) business.
Lead & co-ordinate all e-commerce website activitiesand the planning of the events to deliver the targeted revenue, owning the annual budget for the digital (e-commerce) business for Metro digital (e-commerce) business.
Drive revenue and productivity by achieving and exceeding KPIs, processes, and commercial solutions when needed.
Demonstrating high responsiveness to generate growth and profitability of digital channels.
Responsible for site uploads and daily functions including inventory management, price update and promotion execution.
Responsible for platform’s customer serviceto provide excellent customer satisfaction and promote sales conversion.
Responsible to work closely & collaboratively with both internal & external stakeholders(E-commerce Logistic, E-commerce Operation, IT, Finance, A&P, Merchandising & Marketplace’s representative) to plan and execute all campaigns strategies to achieve targets.
Plan and execute all the marketing strategiesnecessary to achieve the Metro digital (e-commerce) budget and the ability to think out of the box in a complex Marketing touchpoint.
Manage key relationships with business partners & suppliers, helping drive better business for the Company.
Source for new categories and brandsto enhance platform assortment as part of generating growth and achieve targets.
Deliver weekly and monthly on Metro digital (e-commerce) business performance, including web analysis and evaluation of marketing KPIs such as traffic and Return on Ad Spend for digital channels and onsite content.
Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time to meet the needs of the Company.
To succeed in this e-Commerce role, you will need to be able to work in a matrix organization and have a strong record in building e-commerce business.
Key Requirements:
Diploma in Retail Sale or E-Commerce or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in e-commerce/sales within the consumer space.
Experience in Marketplaces platform such Lazada & Shopee will be added advantageous.
Expertise in both strategy and plan development, as well as execution of key initiatives & programs to drive online business growth.
High energy and comfort level towards working in a fast paced and matrix organization environment.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, organized, effective communicator
Excellent communication skills to manage relationship and ability to drive consensus, execution across teams as well as other stakeholders towards achieving the desired target and growth.
Strong analytical skills, to be able to acquire and analyse data to draw actionable insights and apply towards sales achievement.
Proficient in Videography, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Canva
