Job summary

A luxury resort in Singapore seeks an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee operations and lead the Front Office team. Responsibilities include managing daily tasks, providing directions to staff, handling guest feedback, and ensuring maximum room utilization. Applicants should have a diploma and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work shifts. Knowledge of Hotel Management Systems is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar capacity.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
  • Knowledge in Hotel Management System (HMS) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Front Office team on shift and provide guidance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the Resort.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Monitor room inventory to maximize utilization for revenue.

Job Responsibilities
  • In charge of managing the Front Office team on shift. Provide directions and guidance towards team members in accordance with standard operating procedures established by the Resort.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of the Resort.
  • Work closely with other departments in meeting guests’ requests.
  • To handle and attend to guest feedback and resolve their complaints timely.
  • Meet and Greet the VIP, CIP, Long stay and high paying guest.
  • Monitor room inventory closely to ensure maximum utilization of rooms to generate higher revenue.
  • Provide supervision, training and coaching to the Front Desk staff.
  • Maintain and update the departmental standard operating procedures to remain relevant.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma with a minimum of 3 years in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player and must work independently.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Knowledge in HMS would be an added advantage.
