Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely transport residents to and from hospitals, clinics, and external appointments as scheduled.
  • Provide transportation for staff, visitors, and official organisational activities when required.
  • Assist residents in boarding and alighting vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct daily checks on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy, safe, and clean.
  • Arrange for timely servicing, repairs, and inspections of vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic rules, safety regulations, and organisational driving policies.
  • Support logistics by transporting goods, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Maintain proper records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Assist in other operational duties within the Home when not on driving assignments.
  • Provide courteous and empathetic assistance to elderly residents during transportation.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, especially for wheelchair-bound or physically challenged residents.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to the supervisor.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties given by the higher management.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3/4 Driving Licence with clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years’ driving experience, preferably in healthcare, social service, or institutional settings.
  • Familiar with Singapore road safety regulations and traffic conditions.
  • Physically fit to assist elderly residents, including wheelchair handling and safe transfers.
  • Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious with good interpersonal skills.
