Job Description

  • Create shop drawings from construction drawings, hand‑drawn sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants on project specification.
  • Assist in quantity measurement.
  • Any adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD software and basic computer software.
  • Experience in structural steel works.
BIM / AutoCAD Draftsman

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of precision technical shop drawings and working drawings using current and existing AutoCAD software.
  • Minor coordination of Architectural/Structural/M&E drawings.
  • Detailing and documentation of working drawings.

Qualifications

  • At least a Professional certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or equivalent.
  • Required skill: AutoCAD.
  • At least 1 year of working experience.
  • Preferably with prior experience in the construction/building industry.
  • BIM knowledge will benefit the application.
M&E Cad Drafter

Responsibilities

  • Design & draft mechanical and electrical building services drawings.
  • Ensure design complies with Singapore’s code of practice for the various building services.
  • Liaise with Project Managers & Engineers for the requirements.
  • Assist Project Engineers in managing the projects/attending meetings where required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma / ITE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years M&E building service drafting experience using AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of BIM is an added advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short period notice.
Technical Drafter (CAD)

Responsibilities

  • Liaises with Design Manager to provide accurate delivery dates and the associated deliverables.
  • Works to own initiative to decide best solutions.
  • Adapts existing drawings to incorporate design changes demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawing.
  • Providing specifications and detailed drawings on architectural works – review and coordinate with construction team.
  • Schedule Structural / Architectural / M&E works from commencement to completion of the project.
  • Carry out architectural works scheduling, project supervision and documentation.
  • Co‑ordinate with the Architect, Structural and M&E staff members to resolve related problems and issues.
  • Assist the Senior Design Manager to plan, organise, implement, coordinate and control the construction of architectural works.
  • Coordinating, organising and supervising architectural and other disciplines work/ installations by the sub‑contractors to the required project schedule.
  • Independently able to provide solutions to problems in the field or ensure that sub‑contractors’ requests for information are addressed quickly.
  • Ensuring compliance with local standards and International Building Codes (IBC).
  • Onsite inspection, review and coordination of all construction services relating to the design management plan and schedules.
  • Drawings and diagrams: Preparation, back‑drafting, updating as per project discipline requirements and good engineering practices.
  • Handling the different versions of the drawings and ensuring they are controlled in a sequential reference environment.
  • Maintaining CAD standards throughout the various stages of the design drawings.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawing issue sheets, referenced drawing numbers & title block.
