Job Responsibilities

• Senior Corporate salesperson with coverage of Corporate clients for FX & Derivatives (FX, Interest rate and Commodity derivatives)
• Solicit new business opportunities and enhance client base by developing strong client relationships and providing value-added client offerings across products.
• Generate new business by proactive sales pitches to both new and existing clients, utilizing SMBC's cross asset product suite.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers in developing and deepening client relationships and identificationand onboarding of new FX and derivatives opportunities
• Monitor and send market updates including trade ideas based on market movements, working in collaboration with traders, economists and strategists
• Service and grow flow market share of electronic trading platforms including but not limited to FXConnect, FXGo and FX
• Interact and cooperate closely with various internal teams on client management issues, including risk, relationship management, legal, settlement and operation
• Keep abreast of regulations and have strong risk control practice to ensure compliance with limits and regulations

Job Requirements

• Good bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in FX/interest rate sales to corporates in Singapore.
• A proven track record of establishing real lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to run client presentations and influence stakeholders both internally and externally
• Disciplined approach to fulfill and exceed both client expectations and internal KPIs
• Numerate and comfortable with fast paced Global Markets environment
• Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills.
