Job summary

A technology services company in Singapore is seeking a Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. In this full-time role, candidates will define QA testing objectives, manage testing phases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years of software testing experience, proficiency in both manual and automated testing, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Strong IT knowledge and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of software development or software testing experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong IT knowledge and familiarity with software development life cycles.
• Experience in an Agile environment with knowledge of Agile processes.
• Familiarity with internet and mobile technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope and objectives for all levels of QA testing.
• Participate in functional, regression, load, and system testing.
• Perform both black box and white box testing as required.
• Manage and ensure the success of assigned testing projects.
• Develop test plans and test cases that align with business requirements.
• Execute test cases, document defects, and ensure defect resolution.
• Create test reports and provide insights into testing progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Deliver projects on time, ensuring software quality.
