Job description
    You will be responsible for driving trade finance business growth within your assigned client portfolio by developing and sustaining effective client relationships at appropriate levels in the client organization. Your role will involve establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for Trade products & Working Capital, identifying trade business opportunities, structuring and pitching appropriate solutions, making effective pitches, and delivering client mandates seamlessly. You will collaborate with implementation, client management, and service teams to ensure consistently superior client experience. Additionally, you will participate in assigned projects/initiatives as appropriate by the sales team lead to gain exposure to broader business origination and sales strategy.You will devise client-level Trade Sales/services and working capital strategy aligned with and socialized into the overall account plan. It will be your responsibility to chart clients" treasury strategy and evolution roadmap, define digitization agenda in the assigned portfolio that would drive client loyalty, and ensure wallet share growth.Your key responsibilities will include driving OPAC conversion toward agreed levels, ensuring pricing meets quality deployment scorecard requirements, driving a healthy pipeline and closures through business origination activity, managing deal execution, maintaining oversight on implementation, and ensuring revenue realization. You will lead RFP responses, client pitches, and ensure successful conversions. It will also be your responsibility to recommend and implement the appropriate service model for respective clients and retain ownership of the overall client experience with our cash management/trade finance solutions and services.As part of the role, you will be required to comply with internal policies, procedures, codes, and applicable external laws and regulations. You will also develop and maintain effective and professional partnerships with internal stakeholders, provide effective regional trade sales coverage, and establish leadership credentials by embracing coaching, guidance, and sharing insights with other team members.Furthermore, you will be expected to ensure that Risk Management matters are addressed promptly and adequately escalated as necessary. You will be required to display exemplary conduct, adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, and take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics across Standard Chartered Bank. You will also be responsible for effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating, and resolving risk, conduct, and compliance matters.The ideal candidate for this role should hold a university degree and have at least 4 years of relevant Transaction Banking sales experience, ideally in an international/regional environment.
