About The Role

As a CBRE APAC Research Director, you will collaborate with the Investor Thought Leadership team and Asia Pacific research teams to analyze real estate trends, economic issues, and capital markets across major Asia Pacific regions. This role requires a keen interest in real estate economics, to provide comprehensive insights for both occupiers and investors.

What You'll Do

• Direct quality, consistency, and production of internal and external research reports, presentations, market forecasts, etc.
• Oversee market forecasting and create visions. Ensure deliverables meet corporate standards.
• Conduct semi-annual and quarterly top-down modeling to forecast real estate occupier fundamentals and investment returns.
• Formulate complex strategic reports that identify new investment strategies and opportunities.
• Review and enhance custom real estate occupier fundamentals forecasts for all high-profile regional acquisition opportunities.
• Participate in the reviewing and writing of the periodical set of publications that communicate house view to external clients.
• Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions.
• Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within own function.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience and exposure to Asia Pacific commercial real estate market with familiarity in real estate capital markets
• Strong presentation skills
• Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
• Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
• Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
• Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
