A leading financial advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee compliance in digital marketing activities. The role involves developing and implementing governance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, possess relevant compliance experience within financial services, and have strong understanding of MAS regulations. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to lead and manage the firm’s compliance oversight of digital marketing activities. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and monitoring mechanisms related to digital advertising and online communications. In addition, the role will support broader compliance functions across the firm, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures governing digital marketing and advertising, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and other online platforms.
Review and approve digital marketing materials to ensure compliance with MAS regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Monitor ongoing digital marketing activities for regulatory compliance and reputational risk.
Collaborate with Marketing and Business teams to ensure alignment of messaging and regulatory expectations.
Conduct training and awareness sessions for Staff and Representatives on digital marketing compliance requirements.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the firm’s compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and controls.
Support regulatory reporting, licensing, and audit processes.
Conduct compliance monitoring and testing across business units.
Investigate and report compliance breaches or incidents.
Stay updated on regulatory developments and advise stakeholders accordingly.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Relevant experience in compliance within financial services, preferably with exposure to digital marketing or advertising review.
Strong understanding of MAS regulations, especially those related to advertising and conduct.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
Experience in policy drafting and governance frameworks.
Certification in compliance (e.g., IBF, ICA) is a plus.
