Job summary

A leading data analytics firm in Singapore is seeking a Data & Insights Analyst for a 12-month engagement. The role involves analyzing geospatial and operational data, developing data-driven hypotheses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, strong SQL and data visualization skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This position offers the opportunity for remote work 45 days throughout the year.

Qualifications

Data & Insights Analyst - 12 month engagement, renewable / convertible.
What You’ll Do

As part of our Geo team, you’ll tackle fascinating geospatial and operational challenges that influence millions of users. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to diagnose problems, design experiments, optimize features, and guide strategic decision‑making.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Developing data-driven hypotheses to address high-impact product and business questions
  • Identifying trends and anomalies, diving deep into root causes
  • Designing, running, and analyzing experiments that shape critical product decisions
  • Owning data specifications for both frontend and backend integrations to ensure clean, reliable data
  • Consolidating multiple data sources into integrated, scalable datasets that power smarter decisions
  • Defining and tracking key product and business metrics, providing insights and recommendations
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to understand pain points, streamline workflows, and improve productivity through automation
What You Bring

We’re seeking someone who is analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive—a creative problem solver who loves transforming data into actionable insights.

Must-haves:
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics roles, ideally involving large datasets
  • Strong statistical foundation and comfort running experiments
  • Data visualization expertise using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools
  • SQL skills plus proficiency in Python or R
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines across multiple projects
  • A problem-solver’s mindset with the ability to propose creative, timely solutions
  • Excellent communication skills to convey insights clearly to diverse audiences
  • A self-starter attitude—you take ownership and drive initiatives independently.

Note: We are also open to those who have intern experience, looking for their first gig but has proven data analysis experience! Alternatively, you are an Data Analyst or equivalent, looking to make their mark with this very well-known Super App!
