EVOLV is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong social media and digital background to strengthen our capability in campaign measurement, content optimisation, and data-informed storytelling.
The role works closely with producers, editors, designers, and account teams to translate social and digital performance data into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and board-ready reporting, particularly for public-sector and stakeholder-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Social & Campaign Performance Analytics
- Track and analyse performance across social platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) for EVOLV-produced content and campaigns.
- Analyse key metrics including reach, engagement, watch time, audience retention, completion rates, CTRs, and growth trends.
- Support both always-on content and time-bound campaigns with timely performance readouts.
Video & Content Effectiveness
- Analyse video performance, including retention curves, drop-off points, and format effectiveness.
- Provide insights to inform creative decisions such as pacing, duration, hooks, captions, and platform-specific edits.
- Work with production teams to translate data into practical creative adjustments for future content.
Reporting for Public-Sector & Stakeholders
- Prepare clear, concise, and stakeholder-ready reports aligned with public-sector expectations.
- Support post-campaign reporting, KPI tracking, and performance summaries for management, board, and ministry-level reviews.
- Ensure consistency in metrics, definitions, and reporting frameworks across projects.
Strategic Insights & Advisory Support
- Support account teams with data-backed insights for campaign planning, optimisation, and client recommendations.
- Identify trends, benchmarks, and best practices relevant to government communications and public outreach.
- Contribute to EVOLV’s advisory capability by framing data insights in a strategic and decision-oriented manner.
Tools, Data & Capability Development
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools for internal and client use.
- Work with production and strategy teams to explore AI-enabled analytics, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the development of standardised analytics frameworks that scale across EVOLV’s growing portfolio.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in digital analytics, social media analytics, or performance measurement, preferably in a creative, media, or digital agency environment.
- Strong understanding of social and video-centric platforms and how content performs differently across them.
- Experience supporting campaigns with tight timelines and fast turnarounds.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and comfortable working with large datasets.
- Experience with social analytics tools (native platform analytics and/or third-party tools).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, dashboards, or BI tools (e.g. Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Communication & Working Style
- Able to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working closely with creative and production teams.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and able to meet tight reporting timelines.
