Job description

As the Customer Success Specialist, Research at JoVE, you will play a crucial role in supporting researchers and faculty at subscribing Universities and Research Institutions in North America & Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in integrating JoVE's content into syllabi and supporting training and research activities.Your key responsibilities will include engaging with Researchers and Educators to encourage the utilization of JoVE resources in laboratories and classrooms. This will involve delivering presentations and webinars at various events such as exhibits, conferences, seminars, and workshops. You will also focus on developing relationships with key decision-makers and teaching/research staff at universities and research institutes through daily outreach efforts like phone calls, meetings, emails, and tailored projects. Additionally, you will provide valuable customer feedback to the sales, product, and marketing teams, as well as raise awareness of JoVE's products within customer institutions.To excel in this role, you should hold a Masters or PhD Degree in a STEM discipline and possess excellent English communication skills. Previous experience working in laboratory settings, science communication, or customer-facing roles would be advantageous. A deep understanding of education and research trends in disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, Engineering, or Psychology is essential. You should also have demonstrated proficiency in delivering engaging presentations to both large and small groups, as well as proven networking skills with scientists and decision-makers.
