About Us

Hands On Klay is a vibrant, design-led creative studio specialising in bespoke clay accessories and interactive workshop experiences. We run hobby workshops, corporate team bonding sessions, hen parties, birthday celebrations, and curated creative events — all rooted in artistry, personalisation, and memorable customer experiences.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Creative Workshop Facilitator who enjoys working with people, loves hands-on creative work, and is curious about how a creative business is run. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain real-world experience in workshops, customer engagement, and social media within a fun and supportive environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Workshop Facilitation (Primary Role)
  • Assist in and eventually conduct clay workshops for customers (after training).

  • Learn and apply different clay jewellery-making techniques.

  • Guide participants through workshop steps in a clear, friendly, and engaging manner.

  • Help prepare and pack workshop materials before and after sessions.

  • Support corporate events, private parties, and special workshops.

  • Ensure a positive, welcoming experience for all participants.

Social Media & Content Support (Learning Opportunity)
  • Support basic social media content creation for Instagram and TikTok.

  • Capture photos and short videos of workshops, products, and behind-the-scenes moments.

  • Assist in simple content editing and caption writing (using tools like Canva).

  • Help brainstorm content ideas aligned with brand identity and seasonal themes.

Retail & Customer Engagement
  • Interact with walk-in customers at our Orchardgateway studio.

  • Explain workshop concepts, products, and experiences confidently.

  • Collect customer feedback to improve workshops and service quality.

Business & Creative Exposure
  • Gain firsthand experience running a small creative business in Singapore.

  • Assist with simple administrative tasks (inventory updates, data entry, documents).

  • Support proposal preparation and workshop planning when needed.

  • Contribute ideas for new workshops, collaborations, or creative initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
  • Comfortable speaking to people and enjoys facilitating workshops.

  • Energetic, friendly, and positive personality.

  • Keen interest in arts, crafts, creative businesses, or workshops.

  • Willingness to learn clay techniques and customer-facing skills.

  • Familiar with Instagram and TikTok; basic Canva skills preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic inventory/data entry).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word (documents and simple proposals).

  • Bonus: Loves handmade, aesthetic, and creative work.
