Job description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Counsellor to join our private practice. The successful candidate will provide evidence-informed counselling services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, and where relevant, group or family counselling sessions

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records

  • Communicate professionally with clients, parents/caregivers, and relevant stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with psychologists, educators, medical professionals, or schools as needed

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards

  • Participate in supervision, case discussions, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum Master’s degree in Counselling.

  • Registered or eligible for registration with a recognised professional body

    Relevant clinical experience in a counselling or mental health setting

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and client-centred care

Desirable
