Job summary
A property management firm in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to partner with Business Groups for procurement support, manage vendor relationships, and prepare contract documents. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years in contract administration and quantity surveying, with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant fields. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
- Partner respective Business Groups to identify sourcing needs and deliver timely procurement support
- Review the deliverables of appointed vendors
- Prepare pre-tender, tender, cost and contracts administration for development and procurement works
- Identify, evaluate and recommend new Contractors and/or Suppliers that meet the Business Groups' requirements based on the selection and qualification process
- Analyse and prepare cost estimates for decision making
- Monitor market dynamics and identify marketplace trends that impact material/services availability and pricing
- Assist in review and negotiation of contract details and maintenance of all contracts
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Building/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying, Science or Engineering or in any relevant discipline
- 3 to 5 years related experience in Contract related matters such as Contracts Administration and Quantity surveying in the Property, Construction and Estate industry
- Sound knowledge of pre and post tender processes and conditions of contract will be an added advantage
- Possess verbal and written communication skills in English, meticulous, diligent and organised, able to work independently and in a team and comfortable in handling voluminous documentation and data
