A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee strategic operations in public cleaning services. The role involves ensuring compliance with cleaning standards, managing staffing issues, and maintaining effective relationships with clients and vendors. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all strategic operations to ensure the operations, maintenance, client and vendor management standards are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner in a public cleaning environment.
- Maintain the relationship framework for the contract to ensure working relationships at all levels of the business are in place and effective.
- Ensure compliance with cleaning standards, contractual obligations, and health & safety regulations.
- Plays a key role in operational supervision, performance monitoring and staff coordination.
- Day-to-day management and ensure contractual service delivery meets the agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreement (SLAs).
- Supervise housekeeping managers, supervisors and operatives, ensuring rosters are covered and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections and quality checks in line with infection prevention and control standards.
- Manage staffing issues, including recruitment, onboarding, training, attendance and performance.
- Liaise with customers, nursing teams and other stakeholders to ensure service responsiveness and address any concerns.
- Monitor and report on contract performance, including compliance with cleaning schedules and audit results.
- Prepare reports, budgets tracking and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adherence to all health and safety policies, risk assessments etc regulations.
- Handle incident investigations, complaints and implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide contract/operation/service leadership and participates in developing and implementing consistent policies, procedures, controls in contract execution and to direct contract administration staff.
- Attend and respond to meetings and daily requests from clients for information, project status, routing and too prepare and prepare monthly reporting according to client’s needs.
- Ensure that all site staff project professional image of the Company.
- Drive annual employee engagement survey processes. Evaluate results and recommend action plan to improve performance.
