Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a health and safety officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and hold an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health. This role includes monitoring construction operations, conducting risk assessments, and training new employees. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrate strong legal knowledge of safety regulations. Willingness to work 5.5 days a week at the project site office is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Health Safety and Environmental Management System.
• Inspect construction operations for safety compliance.
• Liaise with sub-contractors' supervisors for health and safety.
• Conduct HSE induction courses for new employees.
