Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior BMS Technician to join our Building Management System (BMS) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS solutions, working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure reliable building operations and improved energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure optimal performance of building automation systems
  • Install, configure, program, and commission BMS controllers and field devices
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve operational issues related to BMS, HVAC controls, and networks
  • Monitor system performance and support optimization and energy efficiency initiatives
  • Support system upgrades expansions, and retrofit projects
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and project teams
  • Prepare and maintain accurate system documentation and as-built records
  • Develop and update control schematics, network diagrams, and system drawings using AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio
  • Develop, test, and control logic using PLC programming
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in BMS / Building Automation Systems
  • Strong experience with BMS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, building services, and energy management
  • Strong knowledge of BMS communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and controller configuration
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for drawings and documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in BMS commissioning and site coordination
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, controllers)
  • Experience integrating third‑party systems (VFDs, energy meters, chillers, etc.)
