Job summary

A leading financial advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Officer to support AML policy implementation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Candidates should possess a diploma in business or finance, have a positive work attitude, and be meticulous under pressure. Immediate availability is preferred. Qualifications

  • Diploma in any business or finance related studies.
  • Independent, meticulous, adaptable with ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiar with the Securities and Futures Act and Financial Advisers Act is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of the AML policy and ensure adherence to laws.
  • Conduct daily AML screening and reviews on higher risk clients.
  • Provide training to business units on AML matters.

Compliance Officer - AML, Compliance & Practice Standards

We are one of the leading Licenced Financial Advisory Firm that has been providing financial planning services to clients for more than a decade. The compliance role is to ensure that the company and its representatives conduct their business in compliance with the regulatory requirements.

Exposure to the various functions of the Compliance Department and opportunity to gain knowledge on local regulatory requirements.

Job duties include:
  • Supports and assist in the implementation of the AML policy and ensure business units’ adherence to applicable AML laws and regulations in Singapore
  • Assist to carry out daily AML screening
  • To conduct batch screening for clients and flag out any adverse/negative findings and etc.
  • To carry out AML review on higher risk clients and provide detailed report on findings
  • Conduct KYC review and completion of supporting documents
  • Verify and ensure documentation is complete prior to on boarding of clients
  • Conduct training to business units and representatives on AML matters.
  • Assist in conducting transaction audits for BSC.
  • Assist in any other assignment, duties and projects assigned by Head of Department

  • Candidate who is familiar with the Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and related legislation will be an added advantage. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
