Responsibilities
  • Prepare business reports and analyze vessel operations data, offering key insights to support commercial evaluations and recommendations.
  • Manage and coordinate transaction documentation for vessel acquisitions and sales, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with management on contract terms during vessel purchases, disposals, and newbuilding projects, enabling smooth deal closures communication among stakeholders.
  • Track installment payments and financial timelines for shipbuilding contracts, ensuring all deadlines and obligations are consistently met.
  • Liaise with brokers, principals, and external parties to gather, organize, and distribute necessary information for vessel transactions and negotiations.
  • Maintain detailed records for all commercial activities, supporting audit readiness and transparency.
  • Assist in ongoing process enhancements to streamline documentation, reporting, and communication within the commercial team.
  • Carry out other commercial responsibilities and contribute to special projects as delegated by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Finance, or a related area.
  • At least 1–2 years of practical work experience, ideally spanning multiple aspects of shipping or maritime operations.
  • Proficient in Excel and confident with quantitative and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong command of English for both verbal and written communication.
  • Solid foundation in mathematics, with an aptitude for applying financial concepts and analytical reasoning in commercial decisions.
