Qualifications

• ITE / NTC / Diploma in Precision Machinery or Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in operating CNC milling, lathe machines, grinding and drilling machines.
• Good knowledge of machining processes in Fanuc control.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Job Title: CNC Machinist (Turning or Milling) (ID4390)
Location: Paya Lebah (Airport Road)
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.00am-5.30pm
Basic Salary: $2200-$2600, Gross Salary: $2600-$3100

Job Description

• Set-up and operate CNC milling or turning; ability to operate grinding and drilling machines is an advantage.
• Perform machining works as per drawings and instructions.
• Understand and use Fanuc; perform simple CNC programming.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance of machines.
• Perform housekeeping activities in the work area.
• Select the appropriate tools, machines and materials for preparation of machinery work.
• Perform quality checks on finished products using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Deliver output according to requirement.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• ITE / NTC / Diploma in Precision Machinery or Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in operating CNC milling, lathe machines, grinding and drilling machines.
• Good knowledge of machining processes in Fanuc control.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and Unigraphics (UG) software (advantage).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and work independently.
