Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Lead to manage and lead a team across system administration, endpoint management, and cloud operations. This is a hands‑ons leadership role, combining technical contribution with people management, operational governance, and customer‑facing responsibilities.

You will oversee cloud operations in AWS environments, ensure ITIL‑aligned service delivery, and drive operational excellence across incident, change, problem, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud and systems engineers, promoting best practices and operational discipline.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers on operational issues and service delivery.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including incidents, changes, problems, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Assign and prioritize workloads to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and SLA requirements.
• Proactively manage operational risks and resolve issues with minimal business impact.
• Engage with cloud service providers, OEMs, and technology partners on operations and improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT or cloud operations environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud operations.
• Solid understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes.
• Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards.
• Strong technical background in one or more areas: system administration, networking, cybersecurity, IAM, endpoint computing, or business continuity.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Tenable, CyberArk, NetBackup, Splunk, Palo Alto, or similar.
