A tech consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Junior / Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to enhance the reliability and performance of cloud platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Azure, Linux, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You will also engage in automation initiatives and provide L2/L3 support for platform incidents. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking a Junior / Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and enhance the reliability, security, and performance of critical on-premises and cloud (Azure) platforms. This role offers hands‑on exposure to hybrid infrastructure, automation, and modern cloud technologies, while giving you the opportunity to drive platform modernisation in a highly impactful environment.

Working Hours: 8.30am–6.00pm (Mon–Thu), 8.30am–5.30pm (Fri)

Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract

Monitor, maintain, and optimise platform performance across on‑premises and Azure environments
Perform capacity planning, patching, and lifecycle management to ensure system health and availability
Drive automation initiatives and implement infrastructure standards to improve efficiency and reliability
Execute monthly patching with minimal service disruption in hybrid environments
Provide L2/L3 BAU support for Azure and on‑premises platform incidents
Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, and enable hybrid cloud adoption
Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar tools)
Familiarity with Nutanix and virtualisation technologies
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, security concepts)
Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
2–5 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles
Proven experience supporting large‑scale or high‑availability systems
