About Our Client

In the Netherlands, they are rapidly expanding their Cloud division, seeking to strengthen market share by partnering with key industries (media, entertainment, gaming, e-commerce, retail) and positioning themselves as a strategic provider of scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions.

Job Description
  • Drive growth: Own Cloud revenue and market share in targeted industries (e.g., Media, Entertainment, Gaming, E-commerce, Retail).
  • Business development: Use multiple external channels (networking, digital platforms, events, partners) to identify and engage with internet customers, uncover new opportunities, and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Customer engagement: Understand customer business needs and position their Cloud solutions accordingly.
  • Technical acumen: Confidently explain (not implement) Cloud Computing concepts, infrastructure solutions, and internet architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Cloud Solution Architects, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Operations to deliver best-in-class solutions and customer satisfaction.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to continuously improve our clients Cloud proposition.
The Successful Applicant
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in business development / sales within Cloud, IT infrastructure, or Internet-related industries.
  • Strong network in at least one of the following industries: Media, Entertainment, Gaming, E-commerce, or Retail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English and Dutch.
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure solutions, and internet architectures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).
