A leading children's hospital in Singapore is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to participate in early phase clinical trials. The role involves assisting investigators with trial procedures, administering investigational products, and monitoring research subjects. Candidates must possess a nursing degree, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and have at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience. Shift work, including nights, may be required.
The SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) is a dedicated clinical research unit that supports investigators and sponsors in the conduct of early phase clinical trials and clinical research.
Managing clinical trials and clinical research across diverse therapeutic groups such as oncology, infectious diseases, renal and cardiology, you will participate in trial procedures as part of the study team in clinical research. You will assist the investigators in performing clinical trial procedures such as collection of blood samples and other biological specimens at the specified time points, administering investigational products such as drugs or medical devices, and executing precise data recording.
You will also perform intensive monitoring of research subjects in early phase clinical trials in compliance with ICH-GCP (International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use – Good Clinical Practice).
Training will be provided for all Clinical Research Nurses. The work requires one to work from Mondays – Fridays and will have most weekends off; shift duty may be required from time to time.
