Job description

The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking Clinical Associate / Resident Physician candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment.

As a Clinical Associate / Resident Physician, you will be part of the care team led by Senior Consultants / Consultants in the day-to-day running of the radiation oncology outpatient clinics at the National University Hospital, Singapore (NUH). You will be required to provide office hour coverage as per departmental roster and take on additional duties and responsibilities such as clinical audits and radiotherapy planning and given relevant training in these areas. Involvement in research projects and education of juniors is actively encouraged. You shall demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen and perform any other duties as directed by Head of Department or the Chairman Medical Board of the Hospital.

Job Requirements:
  • Basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school recognised by the Singapore Medical Council. Please refer to SMC | International Medical Graduates (healthprofessionals.gov.sg) for more details.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in clinical oncology such as FRCR or radiation oncology such as FRANZCR or equivalent, will strengthen your application but is not a requirement.
  • Must be registered or registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
