Job description

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee and supervise the day-to-day cleaning operations to ensure all designated areas are maintained to the required standards. You will be responsible for planning resources, allocating work assignments, supervising cleaning staff, and conducting regular inspections to ensure high levels of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of cleaning equipment and report maintenance issues to the Facilities Management team
  • Monitor and control the usage of cleaning materials to minimize waste and misuse
  • Report, track, and follow up on cleaning issues and defect rectification
  • Ensure team compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements on hygiene, workplace safety, and health
  • Establish cleaning standards and procedures, and ensure adherence by all cleaning staff
  • Schedule and assign duties to cleaners to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Supervise work performance to ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with established standards
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to improve team performance
  • Assist the cleaning staff when required during the execution of their duties
  • Manage inventory of cleaning equipment and materials across multiple locations
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cleaning or housekeeping
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safe chemical handling
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
