A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Class 4 Driver responsible for the safe transportation of goods and personnel. You will operate company vehicles, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain vehicle condition. Candidates must possess a valid Class 4 driving license and demonstrate experience in logistics or transport. This role requires reliability, good communication skills, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
The Class 4 Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, and personnel as required by the company. The role includes maintaining the vehicle in good working condition and adhering to traffic and safety regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries, collections, or other transport duties.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods according to schedule.
Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance (e.g., oil, tires, brakes).
Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods if required.
Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Must have experience going Jurong port and MPA place.
Valid Class 4 driving license.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in logistics, delivery, or transportation.
Good knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and routes in the operating area.
Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
Physically fit to handle driving and occasional lifting of goods.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
Good communication skills.
Basic maintenance and vehicle inspection knowledge preferred.
Timely and safe delivery of goods.
Minimal vehicle downtime and maintenance issues.
Compliance with company and safety regulations.
Accuracy of delivery logs and records.
