Job summary

An insurance company based in Singapore is seeking a claims handler to provide exceptional customer service for assigned claims. The role requires reviewing non-motor claims files, responding to inquiries, and attending meetings related to claims management. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide highest customer care, responsiveness and satisfaction when managing assigned claims.
  • Reviewing non-motor claims files - registration, settlement, update, assessment and closure of files.
  • To send out acknowledgement letters/emails to insureds/third party claimants.
  • Attend to telephone/email enquiries.
  • Attend meetings/hearings at MOM_WC, Labour Relation Dept, etc.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE "O" Level, Certificates in Insurance – BCP, PGI, CGI and HI.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in handling non-motor claims - WICA 2019, Liability, Engineering, Maids, Fire, Marine, etc.
  • Familiar with MOM-EmPower system.
  • Good in oral and written communications.
  • Preferred if able to speak in Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • A team player, possess good negotiation and customer handling skills.
